The House of Vintage Cognacs 'Tavria' is one of the best producers of vintage cognacs in Ukraine. This largest enterprise has existed for over a hundred years. It is interesting that 'Tavria' is on the same parallel with the French city of Cognac, which gave the name to the drink of the same name. The grapes that are grown here grow in unique natural conditions. This terroir, a combination of soil and climatic conditions, predetermines the quality and uniqueness of the taste characteristics of wine and spirits obtained from grown grapes. Hereditary winemakers and winegrowers Louis Hechler, Jean Jaton, Julius Mayer, chose this place and laid the first vineyards in 1899. Now the House of Vintage Cognacs 'Tavria' produces at least a third of premium cognacs in Ukraine and is the main exporter of vintage cognacs.
Jatone Cigar Reserve is an amazing Ukrainian cognac, which belongs to the XO class. The drink is created from carefully selected alcohols, the age of which ranges from 15 to 35 years. After Jaton has passed the stage of blending, he is additionally allowed to saturate with special properties for fifteen years. The cognac is named after one of the founders of the cognac house on the territory of Ukraine.
