Thorfinn was a man of much power and influence, who at one stage controlled the whole of the Orkney Islands. This very special single malt has been predominantly matured in first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks, producing both a naturally dark reddish-gold colour and a deep and complex array of flavours where ginger, dried fruits and spices chase an initial aromatic smokiness.
